What I feel as an artist always has a musical texture.
UP CURRENT
This is my most recent music project and my first solo project. All the tracks were composed and recorded during the COVID-19 pandemic. I had time on my hands and spent too much money on various musical plug-ins I wasn’t really using for other productions. It was time to record something new. Once I had an entire album, the tracks then collected digital dust on one of my hard drives for several years. I hesitated with the release, mainly due to a lack of confidence in distribution. In 2025, I finally decided to upload the tracks to Soundcloud and let them go where they want to go (mainly up current).
PERPETUAL PROCESS
Perpetual Process was the first artistic expression that I pursued seriously. I developed several tracks first alone in my studio. Over several years, I surrounded myself with very talented musicians who took the music to the next level. First to join me was Cornelius Boon, a bass virtuoso with years of experience, who helped with logistics for the band. Glueing the sound together was Kevin Jrumz with his mad skills behind the drums. Finally, the powerful vocals of Katie Somers completed the band.
FILM SCORING
The Artifact
with I-Ya-To-Yah
For the Artifact score, I collaborated with Ania Tarnowska AKA I-Ya-To-Yah. This film is a suspenseful sci-fi thriller, and it needed a hard musical drive. Ania’s industrial sound was a perfect match. Ultimately, the score raised the intensity of the film.
Collide
with Perpetual Process
Unlike the score composed for the driver’s seat, which was mostly synth textures, Collide required a more organic mood. Therefore, I brought in the entire Perpetual Process band to collaborate. Corenlius Boon, Kevin Jrumz, and I sat for several days at a makeshift studio (provided by Philip Shcalekamp) and played with melodic ideas. On the last day, Katie Sommers came in to layer her vocals.
In The Driver’s Seat
This is the first score I have composed. My musical background was rooted in synths, so composing a score was a natural transition. For this film, the score needed to create a suspenseful mood, textures against the occasional upbeat jazzy music.
